A dedicated microsite was created for the exhibition Why Look at Animals? A Case for the Rights of Non-Human Lives, a landmark presentation at the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens (EMST), centering on animal rights, ethical relations, and ecological justice through art. The microsite extends the exhibition experience beyond the physical space. Accessible through QR codes placed throughout the exhibition, the microsite featured texts by the participating artists, offering visitors deeper insights into the concepts, processes, and narratives behind the works on display. Designed for clarity and ease of use on mobile devices, it functioned as a digital companion to the exhibition, enabling audiences to engage with the artists voices directly and to explore the layered themes of animal rights, ecology, and interspecies coexistence in greater depth.
