Website for Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Foundation. The objectives of the Foundation are to showcase Greek art, to advance the knowledge and appreciation of Greek culture, to promote the cause of education and to undertake and support activities assisting charities and the less privileged members of society. At the heart of the activities of the Foundation is the Paul and Alexandra Canellopoulos Museum, the result of the couple's love of Greek culture and their concern to see the Greek cultural heritage remaining, where possible, within Greek borders. In 1972 they donated their invaluable collection to the Greek state, to be housed in the Museum.
